Welcome!

Hello!

Welcome, all, to my new online space. I am trying my best to figure out the WordPress universe and to bring you, one who eats, helpful tips and information regarding the true nature of the food you eat in a fun and convenient format. I am brand spankin’ new to this blog thing; I finally decided to jump in with the other 1 billion or so people on the planet who already have their own blog. Exciting, huh? Well, it is for me, anyway, ha!

I would like to dedicate this space on web-land to increasing consciousness to loving ourselves (body, mind and soul), our families and friends, and our planet right here, wherever life finds us today.

Most of us eat 3-6 times a day, am I right? If we are lucky… So, there is a definite positive pattern and rhythm we can create by choosing to focus proper habits and procedures to run our bodies efficiently, in order that we can attend to our many tasks at hand.

Perhaps, like most of us at one time or another, you have found yourself in a negative eating pattern and rhythm. Maybe you’d like to be healthier but never really learned how to cook… or have no idea where to start… I too, know the feeling! A good understanding and daily practice of what foods work for your body rather than against it can help you complete your tasks with ease, rather than with ‘dis-ease’. Foods can literally heal us. You CAN overcome the fear of losing those foods you ‘love’ and don’t think we can live without! You may be addicted… now that’s a whole other post. Let’s sum it up by saying- YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!

As an ravenous eater, registered dietitian and health food nut, I would like to specifically contribute encouragement and information about loving ourselves through the FOOD we EAT! Have you ever heard someone say, “Food is love”? I hear it and see it often. For many of us, we are aware of a medical problem or health issue that requires healing TLC. We know we would like to figure out the best thing for our health and then determine what to do about it.

I hope these posts and pages help kickstart your healthy food journey. If you have already started incorporating whole and health foods into your daily life, kudos! I hope my posts and pages encourage you along the way!
